Path list box entries can now set file names

Topic: Path list box entries can now set file names

When Mpc builds a project, a unique url string is created for each combination of Path1 - Path5 entries. Here's an example project:

Source Files:
  myfile.htm
Path1:
  red
  blue
Path2:
  car
  boat

Building this project would create pages with the following urls:
  http://example.com/red-car/myfile.htm
  http://example.com/red-boat/myfile.htm
  http://example.com/blue-car/myfile.htm
  http://example.com/blue-boat/myfile.htm

Change the Source Files list box to:
  myfile.htm > index.htm

Mpc will place myfile.htm data at the following urls:
  http://example.com/red-car/index.htm
  http://example.com/red-boat/index.htm
  http://example.com/blue-car/index.htm
  http://example.com/blue-boat/index.htm

New in version 285, you can instruct Mpc to build FILENAMES instead of FOLDERS from the Path entries. Just enter a source file and EXTENSION as follows..

Change the Source Files list box to:
  myfile.htm >> .php

Mpc will place myfile.htm data at the following urls:
  http://example.com/red-car.php
  http://example.com/red-boat.php
  http://example.com/blue-car.php
  http://example.com/blue-boat.php

When you want to add entries into the Source Files list box, you should right-click the listbox and select "Add Entries...". A new checkbox "File Extension" allows Mpc to properly syntax the entries for you.

Note: This new function is not applicable when creating Wordpress articles.
