Installer Automation

A newly installed Mpc is setup with the following defaults:
  • Default User Interface settings and blank API keys.
  • Licensing you embedded into the Installer.
  • Empty Dynamic Includes data.
These defaults can be overridden automatically when the Installer runs.

Before browsing to the Installer, place any of the following files into the webroot folder (same folder the Installer is in).
settings_mpcset.zip
When you click the gray 'Settings' button in Mpc you can save your UI and API keys to a file in your computer. Place this file in the webroot with the Installer script and your UI and API keys will be restored in the newly installed Mpc. This file must be named EXACTLY as written above. Rename the file as needed.
credentials.zip
If you want the newly installed Mpc to have a license other than the email/key you embedded into the Installer, place this file in to webroot with the Installer script. There are two ways to create the credentials file:
  1. Click the 'Edit Credentials' button in the 'Login to MPC' dialog. Create new credentials and download the 'credentials.zip' file to your Computer and upload to the webroot.
  2. If you want to create a credentials file with a combo Commercial and VA license, click the 'VA' link in Mpc and 'Install License'. This creates a combo license file named '***_ini.php' in your Mpc folder. The '***' is the name of your Mpc file (without the '.php'). Download this ini file and zip it. Rename the zip to "credentials.zip" and place this zip file in the webroot.
includes.dyn
In Mpc's 'Includes Data Controller', you can 'Save' your DI data. Place this file in the webroot with the Installer script and you DI data will be restored in the newly installed Mpc. This file must be named EXACTLY as written above. Rename the file as needed.
